    The program is very much important because we shall have a building that be furnished well to accommodate the volunteers that come to work with us in our community.The social.The social issue that we are solving is that currently we host volunteers with host families that we do not have much control over the running and management of the program.In that respect,we can only solve that problem when we have put in place our own volunteer house which can totally controlled and run by the organization.The program is mainly about getting potential people that maybe willing to work with us as onsite volunteers to construct a volunteer house.The tasks undertaken will depend on their level of experience and qualifications.The volunteers should have knowledge about construction or willing to contribute funds towards the implementation of the project.Volunteers will be working with our local builders to construct the house.We expect the volunteers to share their construction skills with us and also to contribute towards the buying of the construction materials like cement,iron bars, metallic windows and windows and transportation of the materials.Volunteers expect to learn from us our local language,social cultural beliefs and practices and the different ways of local construction in our area.There is special equipment that will be utilized by the volunteers to construct the house.

    Volunteers work for at least five hours a day.The rest of the hours especially in the evenings after 4.00 pm is free time. Weekends and public holidays are also free to all volunteers to go for touring to different places of their choice.
    Volunteers are accommodated with host families to enable them learn our social cultural beliefs and practices.Program fees is used for airport pickup and drop back,feeding and accommodation.50% of the fees is used to buy building materials like cement, iron bars, metallic windows and doors,stone dust and transportation of the materials.The fees is paid through western union money transfer system before arrival.

    During the week we organize a variety of activities for volunteers in the evenings.  We often play football (soccer), cards and board games or chill out around the bar or go out for a dance getting to know fellow volunteers from around the world.

    Our day normally starts between 08:00-09:00 when we have our breakfast.Then volunteers walk for about 15 minutes to where they be doing the volunteer assignments up to 11:30.At 11:30 we have a short break of 30 minutes.At 12:00 we resume working until 13:00 when we go for lunch.At 14:00 we continue ...

    Volunteers can be engaged in the following activities during their free time : Going for a walk through our communities to see different types of nature like the high rocks at KUNGU ROCK. They can go for sports like football during evenings They can go for tours in our tourists attractions the Kasubi traditional tombs . They can go to our source of the Nile at Jinja. They can go to Mabira natural forests to see the different nature there. They can go to our wild life centre at Entebbe zoo. They can go to our national game parks like Queen Elizabeth national park,Kidepo national park,Bwindi Impenetratable forest,The Sippi falls,BUJAGAALI falls,the Kikagata hot springs,The Rwenzori mountain for mountain climbing ,The mountains of the moon. Volunteers can also for concerts and music shows in different recreation centres. They can go to Ssese islands to watch the different nature in the islands. They can go to our museum to see our reserved past activities. All the above activities can be done either in the evenings after work ,on weekends and during the official public holidyas in the country.

    Mindestalter: 18 Jahre

    Um an diesem Programm teilzunehmen, musst du zu Programmbeginn mindestens 18 Jahre alt sein. Es kann Ausnahmen geben, wenn du die Erlaubnis deines/r Erziehungsberechtigten vorlegen kannst oder wenn du von deinen Eltern begleitet wirst

    Sprachkenntnisse

    Du brauchst folgende Sprachkenntnisse: Englisch (Grundkenntnisse)

    Program fees is for feeding ,accommodation ,airport pick up and drop back.50% goes towards the buying of the factory made building materials like cement, iron bars, metallic windows, metallic doors,stone dust and transportation of the materials.

    Abholung vom Flughafen Entebbe International Airport

    We pick volunteers from the airport at their arrival schedule that should be communicated to us before arrival by the volunteer .The volunteer is picked by me the Program Manager or can be picked by another delegated person with a document /password that is being communicated to be used for proper identification of each other.It is always recommended not to travel to the project site during late hours in the night especially after 12.00 midnight.volunteers that arrive very late in the night are advised to stay at hotel or guest house at their expense.

    Unterkunft

    Our accommodation rooms can accommodate two people in one room or four people in one room.The bathe rooms and urinals are out side the accommodation rooms.The water is received from the constructed rain water harvesting tank.There is electricity and solar power energy.


    Verpflegung

    We serve our local foods and drinks mainly water and juice made from our locally grown fruits like oranges,pine apples ,mangoes and passion fruits.The program starts with break fast served between 8.30 in the morning and 9..00 am ,break tea or coffee is served at 11.00 am in the morning,lunch is served between 1.00 to 2.00 pm. evening tea is served at 5,00 pm and dinner is served between 8.00 to 9.00 pm at night.
