The program is designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the daily functions of a luxury hotel, with tasks and responsibilities tailored to your background and role.

Your Role

Your assigned duties will depend on your experience and interests, with placements available in the following departments:

Waiter/Waitress

• Provide attentive customer service and take guest orders
• Assist with menu updates and process payments
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Work shifts that may include weekends and holidays

Receptionist

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Deliver a personalized and welcoming experience to guests

Housekeeping

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to high standards
• Ensure hygiene and presentation meet the hotel’s expectations

Cook/Kitchen Assistant

• Assist with food prep and ingredient organization
• Rotate through various kitchen stations to learn culinary basics
• Maintain hygiene and follow food safety procedures

Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) is home to some 6 million people, most of whom you will see at some point during your stay as they whiz around town on their motorbikes. The city’s Tan Son Nhat Airport lies 7km north west of the city centre and is the most popular arrival point in Vietnam for international travellers. As well as long haul arrivals there are many flights to HCMC from within Asia, especially from Bangkok and Hong Kong.
