OverviewMany families in rural Kenya suffer from poor housing conditions, and many local community areas and facilities such as churches, hospitals, and schools require significant improvement. This program aims to address these issues by enlisting the help of participants to improve the living standards of these communities through construction and renovation work. This includes creating proper sanitation facilities, making housing safer, and giving communities greater authority over their development initiatives.
Participants will engage in a range of tasks, from light work such as cleaning the area, mixing cement, and painting to more challenging tasks such as plastering walls and repairing roofs. Our coordinator, who has ample experience in construction work, will closely supervise and instruct participants to ensure the safety of everyone involved and that the housing conditions are improved for the local people.
You can help with:

Location

Nakuru is also a hub for agriculture and is one of the largest producers of pyrethrum, a natural insecticide, in the world. Additionally, the city has a vibrant cultural scene, with numerous festivals and events throughout the year, including the Nakuru Agricultural Show and the Lake Turkana Cultural Festival.
