    About the program

    Help us to renovate and paint our buildings, build walls and houses, mending fences and maintenance and beautification of the farm!

    Help us to renovate and paint the houses and also to build new padocks, mending of fences and the beautification and maintenance of the farm.

    You will be guided by the owner of the farm, (Spanish, English and German speaking) who is experienced in guiding and training international volunteers.

    You will be guided by the owner of the farm, (Spanish, English and German speaking) who is experienced in guiding and training international volunteers.

    Volunteers may be asked to perform a range of activities, such as:

    • Renovation work, like painting and plastering
    • Small repairs on walls and roof
    • Mixing cement, masonry
    • Carpentry, welding, and/or plumbing
    • mending the paddock fences

    Volunteers must be in good health and ready to work hard in construction projects. Experience in construcction is an advantage but you won't need any experience, but a reasonable level of fitness and strong dedication to the work go a long way in ensuring that you get the most out of this project. 

    You will get work gloves but we recommend to bring work boots or trekking shoes, and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or possibly ruining.

    Volunteers are able to learn about the care of a horse too and are able to learn how to ride.

    Typical day

    The first day you will get introduced to the other participants and tasks and will be shown around.

    • breakfast: 8am
    • morning work: 9am to 12 am
    • lunch: 1pm
    • siesta: 1pm to 3pm.
    • afternoon work: from 3pm to 5pm.

    The work at the project is from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sundays are off for the volunteers being able to explore in the free time.
    Sometimes the participants are travelling all together over the weekend to the northern beaches, andeas or jungle, they are able to take of some more days for being able to travel further away, acoording the agreement with the owners of the farm

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 16 years old on the program start date.

    Time Commitment

    Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 09:00 - 17:00

    Airport pick up:
    We can organize a wellknown taxi driver to pick you up at the airport, hostal or bus terminal in Chiclayo. Transer taxi costs 20 US

    • Single room with bathroom and hot shower
    • Rustic bungalow with bathroom with hot shower and a little garden with hammocks

    Food & Beverages

    Breakfast: Bread, eggs, honey,  jam, milk, home-made yogurt and cheese from our cows and fruits like mangos from our trees depending on the season
    Lunch: typical Peruvian meals
    Dinner: typical Peruvian meals/internacional meals

    We do provide food for volunteers with special dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarians.

    Volunteers are allowed to use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals together with the other participants on Saturday evening and Sundays.

    An airport pickup isn't included within the program fees either.

    Start  dates are flexible from Mid of February to Mid of December.

    Pick up/ Transfer:
    We will send you a well known taxi driver to pick you up the airport in Chiclayo, hotel or bus terminal. (Fare 15 US)
