Our organization is community based established with the aim of promoting the well-being of people living in areas that are difficult to reach. We are basically an institution serving the community. For us to ably change communities positively, we need to use appropriate strategies that can promote community participation and involvement for social change, hence the need to work with people of different backgrounds and professions.
We are establishing a volunteers residence in our community and we also need support to construct and build our Community Health center/Hospital. We need support in terms of construction, building, renovation, painting and other designs to make the accommodation of volunteers very interesting.
The volunteer will provide advice, tools, designs, resources and technical support and necessary knowledge, values and skills that support the establishment of volunteers residence who will also support sustainable development challenges and build more prosperous and resilient communities. The volunteers will leave in houses around the same residence and will participate in shaping the design of the residence too.
We expect volunteers to be open minded and actively participate in designing, shaping and sharing experiences. The volunteers should expect to meet and work with a local volunteering team. Volunteers can also donate equipments. From us, the volunteers can expect materials, labour support and a welcoming environment for them.
