    About the program

Currently, volunteer program is available in Dharamsala location. Dharamsala offers magnificent views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks, pine forests and tea gardens. Full of life yet also peaceful, Dharamsala offers the perfect destination for volunteer work in India. Not surprisingly, His Holiness the Dalai Lama holds residency in the area. The region, despite its natural beauty, is cut off from mainstream development and is in need of developmental assistance in both materials and human form. The communities we assist are set in the green valleys at the foothills of the Himalayas and many of the children are from farming communities in the area.

    Volunteer Role & Responsibilities:
    1. Teach the basics of English to the children, and create a playful environment by encouraging children to learn arts and crafts, singing, dancing, grammar etc.
    2. As a Teaching English volunteer, you will teach students aged between 5 and 15 years old helping with pronunciation and word use.
    3. Become a volunteer teacher and inspire kids in India.
    4. Make a vital contribution to the education system in India and make a real difference in the lives of local Children.
    5. Improve the teaching standards by introducing fresh and exciting ideas.
    6. Interact with the local community and get to know friendly Indian Children.
    7. Teach basic computers to children & typing skills or Microsoft word and use of Internet.
It’s a fully guided program by iSpiice which combines fun & adventure!  The Golden Triangle refers to the cities of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. A wonderful journey to explore the capital city of Delhi, to witness the wonder of the world, Taj Mahal at Agra and admire the pink city of Jaipur. Collectively known as the "Golden Triangle," the cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur offer a great introduction to North India. The Famous Golden Triangle trip followed by volunteering in Himalayas, at Dharamsala which gives you opportunity to volunteer with Children by teaching basic computers & English.
