    About the program

Interns participating in the Lab Assistant internship program are placed in laboratories dedicated to analyzing human samples for a wide range of medical conditions, as well as supporting routine diagnostic check-ups. Throughout the placement, interns work closely alongside experienced lab technicians, doctors, and other laboratory staff, gaining hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a real clinical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with the collection of samples from patients, properly sorting and labeling samples for processing, helping to maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and ensuring that all laboratory protocols and safety standards are consistently followed. This immersive setting allows interns to develop practical skills in a professional medical setting while contributing meaningfully to the laboratory's daily workflow.

    Requirements:

Interns applying to the medical program must have documented academic training in biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or medicine, having completed at least their second year of study or higher. Working professionals in these fields are also welcome to apply.
