    About the program

Join our Pre-Med Program in the iconic city of Athens, Greece, and gain meaningful clinical exposure while immersing yourself in one of the most historically rich cultures in the world. This program is designed for future healthcare professionals looking to enhance their medical school applications and develop real-world insights into global medicine.

You’ll shadow doctors in a busy medical facility, observing their routines, patient interactions, and the realities of Greek healthcare. Through workshops and lectures, you’ll expand your medical knowledge beyond the classroom, deepening your understanding of clinical systems, healthcare challenges, and patient care in an international context.

In addition to hospital shadowing, you'll take part in educational outreach initiatives that serve local communities — giving you the opportunity to make a positive impact while cultivating key AAMC competencies such as empathy and communication.

During your time in Greece, you’ll also explore the rich culture of Athens: from ancient landmarks like the Parthenon to traditional Greek cuisine, your experience will be both academically valuable and personally transformative. Whether you're preparing for medical school interviews or simply eager to grow in a hands-on setting, this program offers an unforgettable balance of service, learning, and cultural immersion.

You do not need to bring additional equipment.
