    About the program

Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to make a difference in underserved country? Are you ready to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment? Uganda is a land of vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and diverse wildlife. Throughout your journey, you'll encounter warm, friendly faces and be surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Despite being one of the beautiful countries in the world, many hospitals and clinics in Uganda are located in remote areas around major cities, facing a shortage of manpower and resources. There is a high demand for knowledgeable and experienced medical volunteers to assist with essential healthcare services. As a medical volunteer in Uganda, you will have the opportunity to work in hospitals and clinics, providing critical support in various areas. Your tasks may include performing outpatient procedures, conducting blood tests, engaging in community outreach, assisting with family planning, treating minor injuries, and offering antenatal care. Depending on your background, skills, and interests, you will work alongside local permanent doctors, contributing to vital healthcare services in rural communities.

This program is ideal for those looking to gain practical medical experience while making a meaningful impact in Uganda. Join us to support local healthcare efforts and enhance your skills in a real-world setting.

We also welcome volunteers who can support with hospital equipments and other patient support donations.
