The volunteer education program in Nepal was created to support children from low-income families or orphans, in addition to providing support in several monasteries.  

We work in community schools and adult schools. Currently, we benefit approximately 500 children and 81 families. The ages of the children we work with are between 5 and 18 years old.

The education volunteer program in Nepal is recommended for: teachers, students, teenage volunteers and anyone interested in sharing their knowledge and putting their skills into practice.

As a volunteer, you will teach English and other basic subjects to novice monks in monasteries, helping them improve their communication skills and broaden their future opportunities.

Beyond teaching, volunteers gain deep insight into Buddhist philosophy, daily monastic routines, and the peaceful lifestyle of Nepalese temples. This experience is not only educational but also deeply transformative, combining cultural exchange, service, and personal growth. By sharing your knowledge, you contribute to empowering these young minds and fostering cross-cultural understanding in one of the world’s most spiritually rich countries. 

Activities in schools: 

• English language teaching (tenses, grammar, speaking and pronunciation).
• Mathematics teaching (according to the students’ standard and class curriculum).
• Illustrative teaching activities, in addition to supporting the English and mathematics laboratory.
• Support teachers to complete the curriculum.
• Supporting students with household chores
• Problem-solving sessions with students
• Provide personalized assistance to students with specific educational difficulties.
• Group meetings with students and teachers.
• Talks about the negative effects of chewing tobacco, smoking, poisoning, etc.
• Provide support in the school kitchen, preparing food and serving food to children.
