Our Childcare program is very
flexible, no special skills needed however full energy is required. The children at the projects we work
with require a lot of care, attention and most importantly, companionship.
Volunteer can organize extra
activities like:
- Getting the classroom ready for lessons.
- Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories.
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- Hhelping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records.
- Helping with day-to-day tasks at an institution
- Building up the self-esteem and confidence of the
children
Children from 3 to 5 years old
attend our program, where the mean goal is to teach children basic knowledge of
colors, language, music, numbers and to grow in a safe, clean, proper
environment feeling loving, caring and strong.
There are about 20 children in each class room. Please expect that school may feel disorganized, understaffed and underfunded. In fact, this is why they need and want volunteers. The children are always happy to see you and are very welcoming to our volunteers. Help truly are needed and appreciated at these projects.
