    Our project aims to support various non-profit initiatives in Costa Rica, especially those that are committed to the development of children and animals. The main tasks include maintaining and managing the Instagram account of the projects to make their activities and progress visible. You will create and edit high quality photos and videos as well as write and regularly post informative texts in Spanish and English.

    In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit other projects to document their work through photos and videos as well. Your working hours are 3-4 hours per day and are flexible to meet the different needs of the projects. A varied working environment is guaranteed.

    In addition to social media management, you can plan and carry out beach clean ups, as well as organize soccer matches and fundraising events. These events help to raise environmental awareness and mobilize additional resources for the projects.

    You will learn to work independently and in a coordinated manner, but you can always get in touch with our contact person on site if you have any concerns.

    08:00 am Start work - walk to the animal shelter to take photos and videos

    09:30 work on posts (planning, creating texts)

    11/12 End of work

    3 p.m. Start of work - way to soccer training  (take photos and videos, create content, post)

    During your freetime you can go to the beach. You can enjoy activities like hiking, climbing, trekking, horseback riding, relaxing on the beach, etc. Costa Rica do have great surf spots. Water sport activities are a lot around the project.

    During your freetime you can go to the beach. You can enjoy activities like hiking, climbing, trekking, horseback riding, relaxing on the beach, etc. Costa Rica do have great surf spots. Water sport activities are a lot around the project.

    Close to the beach people sell souvenirs, other cities like Manuel Antonio or Domical are close. As well you can do tours to waterfalls, which are close to your stay. One is in town, the other close to Domicial. We can recommend to do the tour on your own, as it is easy to get there.

    Âge minimum: 18 ans

    Pour participer à ce programme, tu dois avoir au moins 18 ans au moment du début. Des exceptions peuvent être possibles si tu fournis une autorisation de ton représentant légal ou si tu es accompagné(e) par l’un de tes parents.

    Compétences linguistiques

    Tu dois parler Anglais (niveau moyen) et Espagnol (niveau de base)

    Transfert de l'aéroport Juan Santamaria International Airport

    Our team will pick you up at San Jose Airport. One of our team will pick you up and bring you to the bus station in San Jose. With the bus you will go direct to Uvita. Please take some cash for the bus with you. The bus costs US$10-15. The bus will take about 3,5 to 4 hours. We can organize a pick up between 6-11am.

    Logement

    You will be in a volunteer house. 

    • Rooms are very well equipped and you will have dorm room (double or 3/4-bed room). You will share a bathroom with other volunteers. Our visitors recommend the accommodation to 100%. 
    The accommodation is about 10-15 minutes by bicycle from the project.

    Single rooms are available on request and with an extra fee.

    Typcial breakfast and lunch OR dinner are included, as well during weekend.

    Informations sur l'arrivée

    You can start the project very flexible. Arriving day is Saturday or Sunday. You will get a pick up at San Jose Airport and they will bring you to the bus station Tracopa. Pick up between 6-11 am.
