    Become part of a special soccer community in the beautiful coastal city of Uvita.This project is managed exclusively by international volunteers and local volunteers!

    Until now, many local children were not able to participate in trainings that could be financed on a monthly basis. This project is for all children of the community to give them the chance to attend an effective and good training regularly.

    Until now, many local children were not able to participate in trainings that could be financed on a monthly basis. This project is for all children of the community to give them the chance to attend an effective and good training regularly.

    It is important that through you values like: Team spirit, discipline, responsibility and that the children are given a perspective through sports. This program is run exclusively by our international volunteers and local parents. Volunteers can take responsibility and make an important contribution to the local community.
    We welcome volunteers from all over the world and look forward to a cultural exchange. In order for you to be well scheduled, please tell us in your application the position you play or used to play, your language skills, and if you already have a coaching license.

    When working with children, every day is different; in our program, for example, a day might look like this:
    Monday and Tuesday is basically for you to go to the beach or waterfall or just relax with the other volunteers in the garden of the accommodation.

    7.30 - 9.00 am Training ...

    When working with children, every day is different; in our program, for example, a day might look like this:
    Monday and Tuesday is basically for you to go to the beach or waterfall or just relax with the other volunteers in the garden of the accommodation.

    Wednesday and Friday
    7.30 - 9.00 am Training sessions
    09.30- 10.00 am Planning the training sessions for the day for different age groups
    3-5 pm Training sessions
    Thursday: tutor a child in English & Social Media and Fundrasing
    Saturday: games against other teams (monthly)
    Sunday: training sessions in the afternoon + planning trainings in the morning.
    On Fridays the team meeting takes place and the upcoming week is discussed as well as past training sessions are analyzed.
    The project currently takes place from Monday to Friday. In the future, smaller tournaments are planned 1x month.

    Holidays:
    From mid-December to mid-January, schools in Costa Rica are closed and our program is also on vacation.

    Close to the beach people sell souvenirs. During your days off you can discover other cities.
    Tours on site possible to book: wale watching, kayaking, go to the waterfall, Corcovado tour, snorkeling in cano island, diving tours, surf lessons, and more

    Idade mínima: 18 anos

    Para aderir ao programa é necessário ter pelo menos 18 anos de idade na data de início do programa. Poderá haver excepções se puder fornecer a permissão do(s) seu(s) tutor(es) legal(ais) ou se estiver acompanhado pelos seus pais.

    Habilidades linguísticas

    Precisa de falar Inglês (nível intermédio) ou Esloveno (nível básico)

    Recepção no aeroporto em Juan Santamaria International Airport

    Our team will pick you up at San Jose Airport. We can organize the pick up from the airport till 11.30 am. Our driver will bring you to the bus station in San Jose. The bus will take about 4 hours to Uvita. If you are coming later our driver do offer a add on package with one day overnight at a host family close to the airport.

    Alojamento

    You will be in a volunteer house. Rooms are very well equipped and you will have dorm room. You will share bathroom with other volunteers.  Our traveler recommend the accommodation to 100%. The accommodation is about 10-15 minutes by bisicial from the project.
    At your accommodation is a shared volunteer kitchen. You are able to prepair your meals. If you prefer to have meals included, you are able to book our other program, included two meals daily.
    Single rooms or own apartment are available on request and with an extra fee.

    You can start the project very flexible: Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. Arriving day is Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. You will get an pick up at San Jose Airport and on next day a driver bring you to bus station in San Jose. The bus will take about 4 hours.
