    Beyond the classroom, you’ll inspire young minds to dream big and build lasting connections that go beyond language barriers. Join us in Da Lat for a meaningful experience that will make your travels unforgettable while changing lives!

    This program allows you to make a real impact by helping bridge the education gap for ethnic minority students while immersing yourself in a rich cultural exchange. You’ll share your own culture and traditions while learning from the local community. By equipping students with essential language skills, you’ll boost their confidence and open doors to better opportunities in a globalised world.

    Your Daily Activities

    Lesson Planning (1 Hour): Design creative, student-centred lessons using the provided manual.

    Morning Class (2 Hours): Teach English with a focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. A short break keeps energy levels high.

    Afternoon Class (2 Hours): Lead dynamic activities to enhance fluency and confidence, with another quick break in between.

    You’ll collaborate with fellow participants to prepare lessons and lead interactive sessions such as role-plays, group exercises, and real-world scenarios.

    Engage students in fun, meaningful ways while respecting local customs, working as a team, and fully embracing this rewarding experience.

    Nestled in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, Da Lat is known for its cool climate, lush pine forests, and stunning landscapes. Often called the “City of Eternal Spring,” it offers a refreshing escape with its rolling hills, vibrant flower gardens, and picturesque lakes. Rich in French colonial architecture and local culture, Da Lat blends history, nature, and adventure, making it a perfect destination for those seeking tranquillity and exploration alike. Whether you’re strolling through bustling markets, visiting waterfalls, or enjoying the local coffee scene, Da Lat promises a unique and unforgettable experience.

    Things to Do Further Afield

    Pongour Waterfall
    Approximately 50 km from Da Lat, Pongour Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s most impressive waterfalls. Known for its multi-tiered cascade and natural pools, it’s a fantastic spot for photography and picnics. The scenic drive through rural landscapes adds to the adventure.

    Lang Biang Mountain
    A short drive from Da Lat, Lang Biang Mountain offers hiking trails that lead to panoramic views of the highlands. Adventurous travellers can trek to the summit or opt for a jeep ride. Along the way, learn about the mountain’s fascinating legends and the culture of the indigenous K’Ho people.

    Recepção no aeroporto em Lien Khuong Airport

    Programs begin every Monday, and volunteers are required to arrive the day prior, for orientation before the project. Your accommodation on the Sunday is included in the program fees.

    A free airport pickup is included when arriving to DLI (Lien Khuong airport). You must arrive between 06:00 – 18:00 on Saturday or Sunday.

    If arriving outside the pickup times you can book a private transfer and any extra nights for an additional fee.

    If arriving on Saturday, you will need to pay for an extra night’s accommodation, or arrange your own accommodation for the night.

    Alternatively, if arriving early you could wait at the arrival’s terminal for the pickup time, book accommodation at the airport and meet us during the pickup times or make your own way to the project (we will advise on how to do this).

    From Lien Khuong airport to the Da Lat accommodation is takes around 60 minutes by taxi. 

    Alojamento

    This homestay offers shared rooms of 4-6 people (single gender). You’ll stay with the family of the staff, creating a warm and secure atmosphere that truly feels like home.

    The house features a spacious common area where you can unwind, read, or socialise. Outside, a lush garden filled with fruit trees provides fresh air and the opportunity to enjoy seasonal fruits straight from the source.

    The homestay is within walking distance of coffee shops, eateries, and convenience stores for your daily essentials. The local market, just 3.5 km away, offers a vibrant selection of delicious food and unique local products, easily accessible on foot or via ride-hailing services.

    Please keep in mind that internet quality may vary depending on the weather. As is common in Southeast Asia, heavy rain can occasionally impact connectivity. Laundry facilities are available at an extra cost, hot showers, bed linen, fans and mosquito protection are also provided.

    Alimentos e Bebidas

    3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) are provided on weekdays, and on weekends only brunch and dinner. Basic Vietnamese meals are provided at our homestay. There is a kitchen in the house if you wish to cook your own food. Meals will also be served based on your dietary requirements, but you need to inform us in advance.
