    About the program

    Pura Vida! Welcome to Costa Rica!

    Drinking a cocktail on the coast, walking through the national park, waterfalls and volcanoes - experience Costa Rica and its many facets. Experience the beautiful nature and wildlife.

    Join us for an exciting tour through Costa Rica and experience its fascinating flora and fauna. Learn all about the local people, the national parks, and the wildlife. Following the tour, you can complete a wildlife project for 3 days or 1.5 weeks in the end. During the round trip you will visit national parks such as: Manuel Antonio or Rio Celeste. Learn about the flora and fauna of Costa Rica as well as the wildlife. At the Wildlife, which you visit at the end of the tour, you will gain a deep insight into animal welfare. Here you will support the team with daily tasks such as feeding, cleaning the enclosures and maintenance work.

    Day 1 Flight to San Jose
    A driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Your hotel room will be at your disposal from 2 pm.

    Day 2 San Jose - Uvita (B & D)
    Off you go to Uvita. In the afternoon, you can take a walk in the Marino ...

    Day 1 Flight to San Jose
    A driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Your hotel room will be at your disposal from 2 pm.

    Day 2 San Jose - Uvita (B & D)
    Off you go to Uvita. In the afternoon, you can take a walk in the Marino Ballena National Park.

    Day 3 Uvita (B&D)
    Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour in the Marino Ballena Park.

    Day 4 Uvita to Manuel Antonio (B)

    On the way from Uvita to Manuel Antonio you will visit the Nauyaca waterfall.

    Day 5 Manuel Anonio (B)
    In the morning we visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, the afternoon is at leisure and you can relax on the beach.

    Day 6 Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna (B&D)
    In the afternoon you have the opportunity to take part in a zipline tour, and at midday we head towards La Fortuna.

    Day 7 La Fortuna (B)
    You start with a suspension bridge tour and in the afternoon we visit the park and the waterfall.

    Day 8 Rio Celeste (B)
    We start the day early and head to Rio Celeste. There we hike to the beautiful waterfall. In the afternoon we go for a swim in the hot springs in La Fortuna.

    Day 9 La Fortuna to Puerto Viejo (B)
    We start early in the morning from La Fortuna to Puerto Viejo, in the afternoon you can relax on the beach.

    Day 10 Puerto Viejo (B)
    In the morning we visit the Cahuita National Park, the afternoon is at leisure.

    Day 11 Puerto Viejo (visit to the Bri Bri) (B&L)
    We drive to Punta Uva, after which we visit the Bri Bri.

    Day 12 Puerto Viejo to Sarapiqui (Hotel - La Quinta) (B)
    We set off early in the morning for Sarapiqui. Here we go on a rafting tour. In the evening we go to the Wildlife Projekt.

    Day 13+14 (B,L,D)
    Wildlife Projekt
    Get involved in an animal sanctuary for wild animals. You will support the team on site in their daily work.

    Requirements

    Minimum Age: 18 years

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.
