    Program Overview:

    Embark on a life-changing 4-week journey through the heart of Nepal, combining meaningful volunteer work with unforgettable Himalayan adventure. This immersive experience lets you explore Nepal’s rich culture, diverse landscapes, and welcoming communities across three iconic destinations: Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara.

    Contribute to Buddhist monastery education, agriculture activities, and childcare initiatives, while also trekking to the breathtaking Annapurna Base Camp. Perfect for travelers seeking purpose, perspective, and personal growth.

    Full Itinerary – 30 Days
    Day 1: Arrival in KathmanduAirport pickup & warm welcomeOrientation and cultural briefingSettle into accommodation & welcome dinner
    Days 2–7: Buddhist Monastery Volunteering – Kathmandu

    Each day is a balance of service, culture, and self-growth, with enough flexibility to explore and make the most of Nepal's breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted people.

    A typical day on the Nepal Volunteer & Adventure Program blends meaningful service with cultural immersion and exploration. Mornings start with a hearty breakfast, followed by volunteering—teaching young monks in Kathmandu, doing agricultural seasonal activities, or engaging with children in Pokhara. Afternoons are filled with hands-on activities, local community interaction, or sightseeings. Evenings offer time to relax, enjoy local cuisine, reflect on the day, and connect with fellow travelers or locals under the stars. Each day brings new experiences, personal growth, and unforgettable moments in the heart of Nepal.

    During free time, volunteers can explore Nepal’s rich culture and natural beauty—visit ancient temples in Kathmandu, enjoy jungle safaris or canoe rides in Chitwan, and relax by the serene lakes of Pokhara.     During free time, volunteers can explore Nepal’s rich culture and natural beauty—visit ancient temples in Kathmandu, enjoy jungle safaris or canoe rides in Chitwan, and relax by the serene lakes of Pokhara. On weekends, go paragliding, hiking, visit local markets, or take short trips to nearby villages and viewpoints for stunning Himalayan sunsets.

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

    Food & Beverages

    Participants are provided with three fresh, home-cooked meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the volunteering weeks, featuring traditional Nepali dishes like dal bhat (rice and lentils), vegetable curries, momos (dumplings), and seasonal fruits. During the Annapurna Base Camp trek, all three meals are included daily, served at mountain tea houses with options like soups, noodles, pasta, pancakes, eggs, and local specialties. Vegetarian and vegan diets are easily accommodated, and filtered water is available throughout the program.
