    In your free time, explore the charming city of Wrocław, known for its colorful architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene. Stroll through the picturesque Market Square, admire the Gothic-style Town Hall, and discover the city’s famous dwarfs scattered throughout the streets. Visit art galleries, museums, and theaters, or relax along the Oder River and its islands.     In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

    Other Skills

    Interns should have a basic understanding of animal anatomy and physiology. Strong communication and observation skills are essential, as is a keen interest in veterinary science. Previous experience with animals or in a medical setting is helpful but not required. Interns should be proactive, adaptable, and able to work well in a team. A genuine passion for animal care and the ability to follow instructions in a professional environment are key for success in this program.

            We will review your application and if we accept you on this internship we will ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. The remaining of your internship fees (less your initial deposit payment) will be due no less than 30 days before your internship start date.

            Prior to your arrival you will also be asked to pay a $400 security deposit to cover potential damages, to the apartments and host sites, which is fully refunded after check-out within 30 days if everything is in order.

            Airport Pickup at Wroclaw Airport

            Internships begin on Mondays, with flexible durations ranging from a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 12 weeks.

            The program fee includes free airport pickup on the Sunday before the Monday start date from Wrocław–Copernicus Airport (WRO). To qualify for the complimentary pickup, interns must arrive between 9 AM and 6 PM. Upon arrival, interns will be welcomed by the local team and transferred to their housing in Wrocław. For earlier arrivals, airport pickup may be arranged upon request and subject to availability.

            Comprehensive pre-arrival information will be provided, including details about the city, local culture, program guidelines, emergency contacts, and the local support team.

            Accommodation

            The accommodation is fully furnished (single or double beds), with WiFi, shared with 1-6 other same-sex interns, and located in safe areas with easy access to public transport and close to the internship site. The last night of the accommodation is the Friday night of the final week, leaving interns free to depart on Saturday. Private apartments can be arranged in advance, if requested and subject to availability.
