to adults; from illiterates to academics; from low-income people to donors;
from volunteers to professionals, to appreciate and celebrate their
contributions towards the conservation of the biodiversity.
Community Art Supporter is a programme that gives opportunity to art passionate or art graduates and professionals people to play a role in conservation through
the provision of needful in-person support.

with different field partners including schools, marginalised women and girls groups
Interested applicant must be pro-active and versatile. .
Applicants will be based and operating from Musanze
district. Musanze is one the districts of the Northern Province of Rwanda.
Its capital city is Ruhengeri which; is also sometimes known as Musanze.
Musanze is Rwanda's most mountainous district, containing the largest part of
the Volcanoes National Park and its head office at Kinigi. Five of the eight
volcanoes of the Virunga chain (Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyinyo, Gahinga and
Muhabura) located within the district boundaries. It is also in this district
that most of Rwanda's mountain gorillas are found, making it the most popular
tourist destination in the country. Musanze's capital, Ruhengeri, is one of the
largest cities in Rwanda and serves as a hub for tourists and outdoors.
It is easy for applicant to access the rest corners of
the country from Musanze for example Musanze is at 1h drive from Gisenyi and
the Democratic Republic of Congo border. Gisenyi is known for its super
weekends for water sports lovers. Musanze is also at 2h30 drive from Kigali and
at 25 minutes to the Cyanika, the Uganda border.
Musanze, located in the northern part of Rwanda has a thriving art community. There are art galleries and studios, places to get a drink and wander through the exhibits. The District is surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. Gorillas live here and are a part of the local culture and folklore. There are many ways in which you can volunteer to do art. Work with kids in the schools by teaching art or helping them teach art using new mediums like recycled materials. Join an art class or sponsor one. Have an art contest or just a free night to paint, color, or whatever your specialty. You are only limited by your own imagination. Photography would also be great since there is so much natural beauty here in Rwanda. Join the hiking club or going gorilla trekking. Rwanda is really one of Africa's hidden gems.
