You’ll join a unique conservation program in Kenya’s stunning Soysambu Conservancy, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and many other iconic African species. The program’s main goal is to protect local wildlife and ecosystems, while also supporting surrounding communities. You’ll work directly with conservation experts and gain hands-on experience through activities like researching endangered species, setting up camera traps, maintaining water holes, and removing invasive plants.
As part of the program, you’ll also join community outreach projects, such as teaching children about wildlife conservation, playing sports, and helping with small construction tasks. These activities help build strong relationships with local people and raise awareness about protecting the environment.
You’ll live and work on the conservancy alongside other teens from around the world. Accommodation is safe and comfortable, and you’ll have staff support at all times. We expect you to come with an open mind, ready to learn, adapt, and work as part of a team. You don’t need any prior experience, just a willingness to get involved and make a real impact.
