Typical day
A typical day on this program combines hands-on conservation work with cultural and community activities. You’ll usually work from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with evenings free for social activities or rest.

A Projects Abroad staff member will be there to welcome you when you arrive at Nairobi Airport (NBO). From the airport, we'll arrange your transport to the project location at the conservancy.
Your airport transfer is included in the cost of your project fee, so you don’t have to worry about extra expenses.
