• Arrival Day: Volunteers must arrive in Bali on the Sunday before their program orientation starts.

• Orientation Start: The program orientation begins every Monday.

• Arrival Airport: You should book your flights to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport (DPS).

• Airport Pick-up: Your airport pick-up is included in your Program Fee.

• Arrival Process: Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a member of the local team and taken directly to the volunteer accommodation.

• Accommodation Coverage: Your program fee covers your accommodation, including the night before your program orientation.

• Alternative Pick-up: If you are already in Bali prior to your program, arrangements can be made for you to be picked up in Ubud or Denpasar on the day before orientation.

• Peak Season Note (June to September): Due to high demand during the period of June to September, the local team specifically requests that all volunteers arrive on Sundays for their airport pick-up.

• Departure: This restriction also applies after the program, as check-out is on Saturday.

• Under 18s: We recommend that volunteers under the age of 18 travel internationally with a notarized letter from their parents to support their documentation.

You will be staying in a comfortable dormitory-style volunteer house located in a small village setting, approximately 15 minutes’ drive from central Ubud. This location offers a great opportunity to experience typical Balinese life and culture.

• Bedrooms: You can expect to share a dormitory-style room with up to seven other volunteers. These bedrooms are separated by gender. Private room upgrades are available - you can request after you register.

• Comfort: Living conditions are comfortable, and all bedrooms are equipped with fans.

• Bathrooms: Bathrooms are shared and feature hot water showers and western toilets.

• Common Areas: There is a large outdoor dining area where volunteers can socialize and enjoy their meals together.

• Internet: WiFi is available at the volunteer accommodation. High-speed internet cafes are also available in central Ubud.

• Security: Each volunteer house has a security guard on duty at night.
  

• Curfew: A 10:30 PM curfew is observed every night at the volunteer accommodation. Volunteers are asked to be considerate and reduce noise after this time.

As a volunteer in Bali, you will have the chance to experience the island’s rich and flavorful food while staying at the volunteer accommodation.

• Primary Cuisine: Meals are primarily inspired by traditional Balinese-style cuisine
  
• Ingredients: The focus is on light, plant-based ingredients and locally sourced produce
  
• Typical Staples: Daily meals typically include staples such as rice, fresh vegetables, tempeh, and tofu
  
• Indonesian Favorites: Popular Indonesian dishes frequently served include:
• Nasi Goreng: Fried rice with vegetables and spices
• Mie Goreng: Stir-fried noodles with vegetables
• Gado-Gado: A hearty mix of vegetables topped with creamy peanut (satay) sauce
• Variety: To add variety, meals follow a monthly rotating schedule, usually featuring Western-style meals twice a week

• Beverages: Coffee and tea are available throughout the day
  
• Water: Purified drinking water is available, as tap water is not suitable for drinking. Bottled water is also easy to purchase and inexpensive throughout Bali
  
• Dietary Needs: If you have any dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, lactose, or gluten intolerance, you should notify the organization ahead of time so appropriate arrangements can be made
