    Our Marine Conservation Program offers a powerful mix of hands-on ocean conservation, environmental education, community awareness, and unforgettable island experiences. Designed for volunteers who want to make a real impact, this program combines practical marine work with meaningful learning and cultural connection.

    Program Balance
    • 70% ocean-based conservation activities
    • 30% theory, education, and community-based learning
    • Theory and school-based sessions are subject to school holidays, local schedules, and teacher availability
    • The program is designed to be active, practical, and immersive, with most of your time spent directly engaging with Bali’s marine environment
    What Makes This Program Unique

    Extra Add-On Experiences

    For volunteers who want a more complete Bali experience, optional add-ons may be available at an additional cost. These create a 360-degree experience both in and above the sea.

    • Lovina Reef – local reef conservation and marine awareness

    • Additional snorkelling or dive opportunities may be available depending on conditions and schedule
    For Non-Divers or Beginners

    You do not need to be an experienced diver to enjoy the program. Activities may include snorkelling, reef awareness, education sessions, and community-based conservation work. For those who want to build confidence in the water, additional dive lessons or certification options may be available at extra cost.

    Typical day

    • From 7am onwards, pick up for accommodation and get taken to the program site 
    • Breakfast- Self-service based at our accommodation campus
    • Lunch -flexi time -self service 
    • After lunch volunteers have a break for the hottest part of the day where they can socialize or go the beach.

    Free-time activities


    • Clear and warm water is the perfect place for snorkeling and diving. At the volunteer camp we provide all the equipment needed to do these activities. Do not worry if you have limited experience snorkeling or diving, our instructors will be happy to help you

    • Waterfalls, there are many waterfalls you can visit with local guides 
    • dolphin watching
    • Temples, Bali is well known as the island of a thousand temples. 
    • Beaches, Bali has so many wonderful beaches to offer. 
    • Balinese markets,  visit the traditional village market which starts at 5am every morning. Our local staff will be very happy to show you around.
    • Attending local Balinese ceremonies. 
    • Other activities in popular touristic spots such as Canggu, Kuta and Seminyak. Volunteers often choose to spend their weekends off in places like this. There are many hotels, hostels and resorts volunteers can choose to stay in.

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

    Accommodation

    The volunteer’s accommodation is located at our exclusive NBSA campus . Approx walking time to the beach is 15 mins. In the town of Lovina, there are many restaurants, bars, and live music to entertain you.

    The volunteer’s accommodation is a clean and friendly environment, all with air-con, cleaning services and wifi.

    What you can expect from our volunteer’s accommodation?
