    Eco Caminhos     receives groups from around the world, offering customized eco farm experiences designed according to each group’s interests, goals and profile.

    Located in the mountains of Nova Friburgo, near the Parque Estadual dos Três Picos, Eco Caminhos is surrounded by the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest, waterfalls, rivers and mountain landscapes.

    Participants have the opportunity to learn through hands-on activities, guided workshops and direct experience with sustainable living practices.

    Depending on the interests of the group, activities may include:

    • Bioconstruction and natural building

    • Agroforestry and organic farming

    • Permaculture and sustainability workshops

    • Renewable energy systems

    • Composting and regenerative practices

    • Community cooking and shared meals

    • Campfires and cultural exchange evenings

    • Mountain hikes and waterfall visits

    • Wild camping and outdoor activities

    • Local tours around the region

    • Community living and group integration activities

    The experience combines learning, nature, teamwork and cultural exchange, creating a meaningful and memorable immersion in sustainable community life.

    Groups stay inside the Eco Caminhos community and have the opportunity to interact with volunteers and residents from different parts of the world while enjoying a simpler and more nature-connected lifestyle.

    A typical group experience day may look like this:

    • 7:00 AM – Breakfast

    • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Workshops and practical activities in Bioconstruction, Organic Farming or Agroforestry

    • 12:00 PM – Lunch & break

    • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Group activities such as Permaculture workshops, sustainability ...

    Typical day

    A typical group experience day may look like this:

    The schedule can be adapted depending on the interests of the group, weather conditions and ongoing activities at the farm.

    Eco Caminhos is located near the Parque Estadual dos Três Picos, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, forests and the Atlantic Forest ecosystem.

    During free time, participants are free to relax, explore the region or organize their own activities. 
    We also regularly organize optional community activities such as hikes, campfires, movie nights, cultural exchange evenings and local tours.

    Some activities are free, while others such as horseback riding, rafting or paragliding may require additional personal expenses.

    Participants can also visit Nova Friburgo, the nearest city, or travel to Rio de Janeiro during weekends.

    While we aim to create a complete and memorable eco farm experience, groups are also welcome to organize their own activities and events during their stay.

  • Prices are calculated per person, based on a group of 6 participants.

    • Training & Group Workshops:
      Groups receive practical workshops and guided experiences in areas such as Bioconstruction, Agroforestry, Organic Farming, Permaculture and Sustainability. Activities can be adapted according to the interests and goals of the group.
    • Food & Shared Meals:
      Ingredients and meals are included during the experience. Groups may also participate in shared cooking activities as part of the community experience.
    • Support & Organization:
      Our team supports groups throughout the experience with local orientation, logistics, transportation information and general organization during the stay.
    • Nature & Community Activities:
      Groups can participate in activities such as hikes, waterfalls, campfires, movie nights, cultural exchange evenings and local tours, depending on the schedule and interests of the group.
    • Accommodation:
      Accommodation is offered inside the Eco Caminhos facilities. Depending on availability and group preferences, groups may stay in shared volunteer houses or private accommodation options.
    • Customized Experiences:
      Groups can customize their experience according to their interests. It is also possible to organize internal workshops, activities or events during the stay.
    • Wi-Fi & Common Areas:
      Internet access is available in the volunteer houses and common community areas.
    • NOT INCLUDED

    • Airport Transfer / Pickup Service:
      Airport transfer is not included in the program fee. However, we can connect groups with trusted local drivers and transportation services. Prices vary depending on the airport, number of participants and transportation arrangements. Please contact us for updated information and quotations

    • Medical Care & Insurance:
      Groups are expected to travel with valid health or travel insurance. Medical expenses and treatments are not included.

    • Cleaning:
      Participants are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and the personal or shared items they use during their stay. 
      Daily cleaning services are not included in the program, but may be arranged separately if needed

    • Special & Extra Activities 
      Some optional external activities such as horseback riding, rafting or paragliding may require additional personal expenses.
      The activities listed in the program are included. However, if groups request additional or special activities that require extra transportation, accommodation, food or external services, these costs are expected to be covered separately.

    Accommodation

    Groups can choose between staying in shared volunteer houses, or in our luxury Eco Lodge, a fully private house for the group, depending on availability and the preferences of the participants.

    Accommodation is immersed in nature and community life, offering both simpler community-based experiences and more comfortable private options. 

    Groups are also welcome to use our facilities to organize their own workshops, courses, retreats, meditation gatherings or events during their stay.


    Food & Beverages

    Full board meals or access to shared kitchen facilities can be organized depending on the group format and accommodation option. 

    Groups may also participate in community cooking activities during the experience.
