    About the program

Fashion and tailoring are more than creative skills — they are powerful tools for economic empowerment, independence, and social change. Through practical training and mentorship, this program helps women and youth gain life-changing skills that can create sustainable income and brighter futures.

At the Women & Youth Fashion Skills Centre, we believe that every stitch can create opportunity. By equipping participants with fashion and tailoring skills, we empower them to:

✨ Start small tailoring and fashion businesses
✨ Create school uniforms and garments for their communities
✨ Generate sustainable income for their families
✨ Build confidence, dignity, and self-reliance
✨ Reduce unemployment and dependency within the community

As a Fashion Design & Tailoring Technology Volunteer Assistant, you will play an important role in transforming lives through creativity and practical education.

✔ Assisting during practical workshops and sewing sessions
✔ Mentoring students and encouraging self-confidence
✔ Supporting entrepreneurship and small business development
✔ Helping participants improve creativity and professional skills

Whether you are a professional tailor, fashion designer, student, or simply passionate about empowering communities through skills training — your contribution can make a lasting impact.

✨ Are passionate about community development and women empowerment
✨ Are patient, creative, and willing to teach and inspire others
✨ Enjoy working with diverse communities and young people
✨ Are open-minded, flexible, and ready to learn new cultures

No matter your level of experience, your time, encouragement, and creativity can help shape someone’s future.

    The Impact You Create

Your contribution goes far beyond teaching sewing skills. Through your support, you help:

❤️ A mother earn income to support her children
