    About the program

The work done with the women is focused on the recognition of the value of each person, promoting personal accompaniment and adequately attending to the individual needs of each woman, respecting the time and process of each one.
One of the main objectives of the project is the development and emancipation of women, in addition to their family welfare.
To achieve this goal, through the volunteer project, we work to accompany women and their families.
We carry out activities aimed at:
    • Fostering self-esteem, confidence and self-knowledge.
    • Improve the employability of women. Workshops are held here that focus on specific training and the expansion of their knowledge.
    • Sections to strengthen the inclusion process.
    Additional tasks:
    • Personal development and empowerment.
    • Literacy classes. Spanish classes are given to women who do not speak the language.
    • Job orientation.
    • Dressmaking, creative sewing and jewelry workshop.
    • Socio-health workshop.
The most important thing is the attitude and willingness of the volunteers to be part of the project for the empowerment of immigrant women in Valencia, Spain.
