We collaborate with selected health centers, in partnership with the Ghana Health Service, to support the delivery of essential medical care to underserved and vulnerable individuals. This program is ideal for volunteers who are doctors, nurses, or students pursuing careers in health-related fields.

Volunteers are placed in local clinics or hospitals, where they gain practical exposure while contributing to patient care under the supervision of qualified professionals. Our healthcare placements offer both a meaningful volunteer experience and a valuable learning opportunity. Participants can observe how healthcare systems function in a different cultural and resource setting, broadening their professional perspective.

Depending on your skills and interests, you may be placed in departments such as optometry, dentistry, or nursing. Placements are arranged based on where support is most needed.

Over the years, this program has provided volunteers with first-hand experience in wards and, where appropriate, observation opportunities in operating theatres, helping improve the quality of care delivered to community members who rely on these facilities.

Roles
