Typical day
TYPICAL WORKDAY AT VICKY’S KEYS
Morning Shift (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Briefing + safety check
- Garden maintenance (weeding, mulching, pruning)
- Compost routines + soil care
- Irrigation checks / water-wise growing support
- Harvesting + planting (season-dependent)
- Break in shade + hydration

Start Dates (Volunteer Intake)
New volunteers can join every Monday during the current season.
April 2026: 6, 13, 20, 27
May 2026: 4, 11, 18, 25
June 2026: 1, 8, 15 (final start date for this season)
Volunteer program note: We are welcoming volunteers until 20 June 2026. After that date, the volunteer program will be paused as we prepare our next phase.
Stay Length
- Minimum stay: 7 days
- Recommended stay: 2–4 weeks (best for settling in and contributing consistently)

Pick-up Service
- Complimentary airport pickup is available on official start dates (Mondays).
- Pick-up window: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Meeting point: Airport Arrival Hall
- Look for: VK team member/volunteer coordinator with a VK sign
First Day Schedule (Arrival Day)
- Check-in: after 3:00 PM
- Welcome orientation: 6:00 PM
- Community dinner: 7:00 PM
