Accommodation Options
Volunteers may stay at the
SFLIG Volunteers House or with a carefully selected host family, depending on
availability and the information provided during the application process. Both
options offer a safe and supportive environment and allow volunteers to
experience Ghanaian culture and community life.
Safety & Quality
Host families and
accommodations are carefully selected and regularly reviewed to ensure they
meet our standards for safety, hygiene, and comfort. Our team maintains regular
contact to ensure volunteers feel supported throughout their stay.
Emergency Assistance
In the unlikely event of
an emergency, our local team is available to provide immediate support and
guidance. We ensure volunteers always know who to contact and how to access
assistance.
Room Arrangements
Accommodation may include:
* Shared rooms (double or
dorm-style)
* Single rooms (subject to
availability)
Each volunteer will have
their own bed and access to essential furnishings such as a table and chair.
Couples may request to
share a room.
Volunteers who prefer a
private room may notify us in advance. Private rooms can be arranged depending
on availability and may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
Facilities
Volunteers have access to
shared facilities, which may include:

Location
The SFLIG Volunteers House
and project locations are situated in Krispo city, near Accra. The area
provides convenient access to local markets, transportation, and community
facilities, while allowing volunteers to experience everyday life in Ghana
