    About the program

Our Medical Volunteer Program is focused on providing essential healthcare support to underprivileged communities living in rural areas and urban slums of Jaipur, India. To achieve this, we run a free community clinic (mini hospital) that treats over 200 patients daily, offering accessible and compassionate care to those in need.

The clinic acts as a beacon of hope, restoring dignity, self-confidence, and health to people who often feel forgotten. It’s a space where care and humanity come first—especially for individuals who can’t afford medical fees, medicines, or don’t have awareness of common and serious illnesses. Most of them come from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and often suffer from preventable health issues.

Your Role as a Medical Volunteer

As a volunteer, your role will be primarily observational if you have no prior medical experience. You'll shadow trained doctors and clinic staff, gaining exposure to real-world medical cases. If you have a medical background, you may be given more responsibility and hands-on tasks under supervision.

    🌿 Typical Volunteer Tasks:

    • Distributing medicines to patients

    • Explaining prescriptions and dosages

    • Checking blood pressure

    • Measuring height and weight

    • Monitoring body temperature

    • Assisting in dressing wounds or minor accidental cases

    • Helping in STI/HIV education and awareness campaigns

    • Providing basic health counseling under staff guidance

You will work closely with a team that includes a Doctor, Nurse, Compounder, Counselor, Receptionist, and Local Volunteers—all committed to providing free healthcare, general treatments, STI care, and HIV/AIDS counseling.

    Why This Program Matters

Many people in these communities suffer from:

    • Poor sanitation and hygiene

    • Lack of medical awareness

    • Inaccessibility to proper treatment

    • Exploitation in labor, even during sickness

Diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis, jaundice, respiratory infections, and HIV/AIDS are common. Our clinic was created to address this healthcare gap and make a lasting difference.

    Project Schedule & Location
    • Work Days: Monday to Friday

    • Work Hours: 4–5 hours/day

    • Accommodation: At a welcoming Indian host family in Jaipur

    • Transport: Daily pickup and drop-off by project taxi (clinic is 15–20 minutes away)

    Who Can Join?

No specific qualifications are required. Whether you’re a medical student, aspiring healthcare worker, or someone simply passionate about helping others, you are welcome. Our local staff will train and guide you every step of the way.

    What You’ll Gain

✅ Work alongside qualified Indian doctors and healthcare staff
✅ Add valuable international healthcare experience to your resume
✅ Ideal for college students, gap-year participants, or career changers
✅ Immerse in Indian culture, language, and traditional life
