    About the program

Join us in Mexico for an unforgettable two-week conservation experience tailored specifically for teenagers aged 15 to 18! This High School Special program offers a unique chance to get hands-on with sea turtle conservation while exploring the incredible biodiversity and culture of the region.

Participants will be based along the Pacific coast, working closely with experienced staff and local conservationists. The program includes:

    Sea Turtle Conservation

You'll help search for turtle nests and carefully move them to protected areas to ensure the eggs are safe from poachers and predators. Once hatched, you’ll release the baby turtles into the ocean — a truly magical moment!

    Interpretive Nature Walks

Hike through the lush Sierra Madre mountains with expert guides. Along the way, you'll spot native wildlife like toucans, macaws, and hummingbirds, and learn about their role in the local ecosystem.

    Beach Clean-Ups

Help protect marine life by participating in afternoon beach clean-ups. You'll work with your team to remove harmful waste and learn about the importance of sustainable practices.

    Cultural Exploration

On weekends, enjoy guided trips to explore Mexico! Whether it's a boat ride or walking through colorful local towns, you’ll experience the vibrant culture, history, and food of the region while bonding with new friends from around the world.

This is more than just a volunteer trip. It's a chance to learn, grow, and contribute to global conservation efforts in a safe and structured environment designed specifically for teens.
