    We collaborate in construction, remodeling, gardening and whatever contributes to the community to make it flourish and create socio-environmental awareness.

    We carry out activities, according to what is required in the area. The activities can be collecting plastic, renovating a building, collaborating with donations to the communities, and more.

    Collaborators have to come and enjoy every challenge that arises, since we adapt to the needs of the area and are flexible in the face of eventualities such as weather. Also come with the equipment recommended by us and what you think is necessary for your personal comfort.

    We have different points where we reside and collaborate; We are available at all times to guide you based on your flight schedules so that everything is comfortable and flexible.

    The team is always willing and open to any ideas from collaborators, as well as to address any questions or discomfort on their part. .The team is made up of people from different cultures, so respect is present above all.

    Un día típico en Eco Vida consiste en comenzar el día con un buen desayuno y luego salir a realizar las actividades planificadas durante el día, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades del medio ambiente y las condiciones climáticas. 

    Tras realizar las actividades, cada persona puede elegir qué hacer en su tiempo libre, planificándolo individualmente o con el equipo y/o los compañeros. 

    Siempre nos reunimos para desayunar, almorzar y cenar, a menos que el colaborador tenga algún plan personal en su tiempo libre.

    Tenemos previsto visitar un lugar como equipo un día a la semana. 

    En los días libres, puedes acceder a las visitas guiadas sugeridas por un costo adicional, o explorar y/o visitar el lugar que desees por tu cuenta. Cualquiera de las opciones implica un gasto personal.

    En las tareas domésticas, como en cualquier familia, nos ayudamos mutuamente a mantener el orden y la limpieza tanto en el espacio personal como en las zonas comunes.

    If you're looking for a bigger adventure, there are also optional excursions to beautiful beaches, national parks, museums, scenic viewpoints, and artisanal or experimental factories (these have an additional cost). Each destination offers unique experiences that adapt to your interests and allow you to connect with your environment in a special way.

    Minimum Age: 18 years

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

    Language Skills

    You need to speak English (basic level) or Spanish (basic level)

    Nationality Restrictions

    No restrictions. Helping hands from all over the world are welcome.

    Time Commitment

    Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 09:00 - 13:00

    The fee helps us finance our NGO, buy food and supplies to develop our project and provide good service to collaborators.

    Accommodation

    Accommodation: You will be provided with accommodation in a shared dormitory, with your own bed.

    We also offer full Wi Fi service, ensuring a stable and reliable connection throughout your stay.

     

    Food & Beverages

    You will receive three meals a day, which will guarantee you energy for your daily activities.

    Our menu includes a variety of options, such as:

    Meat dishes (beef, chicken, pork, fish)

    Vegetarian and vegan meals.

    An airport pickup isn't included within the program fees either.

    Travel Insurance

    You decide when to start your adventure!                                                                                                                                                                               

    Our program offers you the flexibility to join and stay as long as you want. However, we recommend a minimum stay of one week so you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.                                                                                                                                                                                         

    Practical information:     

    To get to where we are, you must provide information about your arrival flight to Costa Rica, having public or private transportation options, with which we will gladly guide you, whichever you choose.
