    About the program

Volunteers are essential in schools as they contribute to various aspects of education. You provide individualised attention to students, support teachers with administrative tasks, and assist in extracurricular activities. You enhance the learning experience by offering diverse perspectives and skills, and they often contribute to a positive and supportive school culture. In addition, their involvement can help address resource constraints by providing additional manpower and expertise. Overall, they play a vital role in fostering a collaborative and enriching educational environment. to help the teachers shape the future of the students.

In collaboration with the Ghana Education Service,  you have the opportunity to teach any subject of a choice in the following subjects:

    ICT (Kindergartens, Primary, Junior High)

History (Kindergartens, Primary Schools and Junior High schools)

Mathematics (Kindergartens Primary, Schools and Junior high schools)

English (kindergartens, Primary Schools and Junior High Schools)

We have found the lack of adequate number of staff in schools very problematic. The ration of one teacher per number of students can be quite overwhelming. We aim to bridge this gap by recruiting as many volunteers as we can to help in the understaffed schools. You are not here to replace teachers but to rather work hand in hand to shape the future of the next generation in the schools, to take care of the students and are advised to bring smart casual clothing. You should expect a dedicated and committed team here that is ready to go the extra mile to make sure your stay in Ghana is every bit as  memorable as they imagined it to be. We in turn expect volunteers to take their volunteering very seriously. We are available to be called upon 24/7 when need be. Join our ever growing family and you will be glad you did.
