Participants combine hands-on participation in the daily life of the farm with time dedicated to their own research, academic projects, documentation or field studies.
Research and internship topics may include areas such as Agroforestry & Land Restoration, Coffee Cultivation in Agroforestry Systems, Agroforestry Maintenance & System Management, Self-Sustainability, Food Production & Rural Livelihoods, Sustainable Business, Fundraising & Regenerative Economies, Eco-Tourism, Education & Social Impact, Natural Building & Bioconstruction, Community Living, Social Organization, and Community Management.
Most participants collaborate around 24 hours per week, usually organized across 3 working days, while also having flexibility for research and independent work.
We provide support for internships and research experiences, including guidance meetings, project follow-up and assistance with university documentation and evaluations when needed.
Participants may also request a document with possible research topics and project ideas, although they are welcome to develop their own themes according to their academic interests.
Learning & Community Life
Living in an international community, participants experience cultural exchange, collective living and collaborative learning with people from different countries and backgrounds.
Outside activities, participants can explore the region, visit waterfalls, hike in the mountains, join community events or travel to Rio de Janeiro.
This experience combines research, sustainability, practical learning and community life in a real regenerative living project.
