    In Cameroon, child protection is a major issue. This program helps protect and give opportunities to vulnerable children in orphanages.

    LifeTime Projects supports Cameroonian children's homes situated in the capital of Yaoundé. The homes care for children from early childhood to adulthood and do their best to get the children back into their families whenever possible. Unfortunately this is not always possible as many of the children come from the streets. The aim of this program is to guide these children through a healthy and happy childhood. We lead projects all throughout the year to give the childrenextracurricular and character building activities like sports, art, drama, music and dance.  These activities are carried out in collaboration with local youth workers and you can help them with their workshops when they are around. You can also offer to share your talents and passions with the children by leading your own exciting activities with them. Our aim is to support the local team in offering a better, brighter future to the kids.

    Idade mínima: 18 anos

    Para aderir ao programa é necessário ter pelo menos 18 anos de idade na data de início do programa. Poderá haver excepções se puder fornecer a permissão do(s) seu(s) tutor(es) legal(ais) ou se estiver acompanhado pelos seus pais.

    • A psychological evaluation with our psychologist
    • A donation to the project 

      • Psychological Evaluation:

      A mandatory psychological evaluation is conducted by phone before the project starts to assess the suitability of volunteers, especially those working with children or women. This evaluation lasts about 40 minutes and can be done either by our designated psychologist or by a local psychologist in the volunteer’s country. The cost of this service is 43 euros and it takes place after the deposit payment and before the purchase of flight tickets.

    You will be welcomed into the home of. local family so as to discover Cameroonian culture in total immersion !

    You can arrive at any day or time except Christmas and New Years eve please ! Our local team will pick you up from the airport and take you to your host family. The next day they will take you for a tour of Yaoundé to change money, buy a local SIM card and to show you how to use local transport.
