Start Dates
This program is available year-round, and volunteers can arrive on any day throughout the year. We recommend staying for at least two weeks to fully experience the project, although longer stays are highly encouraged.
Arrival Airport
Volunteers should arrive at Palonegro International Airport (BGA), the main airport serving Bucaramanga.
Airport Pickup
Airport pickup is included. A member of our team will meet you upon arrival and accompany you to your accommodation, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your experience.
Accommodation & Orientation
After settling into your accommodation, you will receive an introduction to the program, Bucaramanga, local transportation, safety recommendations, and your volunteer activities. We will also answer any questions you may have and help you feel at home in your new surroundings.
Getting Started
During your first days, you will be introduced to the shelter team, learn about the animals, and become familiar with your responsibilities before fully joining the daily routine.
