You will assist with the day to life and work of Norwegian Artic horse ranch. As a volunteer your main responsibility will be to take care of the well being of the animals of the ranch.
Dive into the magic of the Northern lights, learn about local wildlife and bond with fellow volunteers over campfires and hot coca. Whether you’re mucking stalls or leading sleigh ride, it’s a hands-on way to connect with nature and gain equestrian skills. Volunteer for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks, leaving with memories of adventure, warmth and untamed beauty of a land where fjords meet silence. A journey worth chasing where every moment feels like a breath of the Nordic soul.
You will assist with the day to life and work of Norwegian Artic horse ranch
You will be involved with many different tasks including:
- Grooming,
- Tacking up
- Clipping, plaiting
- Mucking out
- Feeding
- Generally looking after horses and yard maintenance.
- Riding, exercising
Keep in mind that tasks will vary by season and partly will also depend on your experience. For this reason we will have you fill out a horse riding questionnaire.
