    As a volunteer you are going to share this intercultural experience  with our Holistic center Director that lives in Arequipa, Characato , a village 20 min, far from downtown,  She is specialized in bio decoding, medicine , acupunture , and medical chinese metaphysics, Our  goal is to create a polinisator ecogarden at the voluteers house, e.g. rain-water is saved and stored to use it later to water the plants. you´ll enjoy learning spanish or acupunture or chinese metaphysics if you are interested. We believe that this kind of intercultural exchange is going to help you as an volunteer because of gaining new experiences, geting spanish fluency and share with the local community  .
    This non-refundable monetary donation assures you your place with us since the dates you've chosen will be reserved and respected. After confirming your stay your dates are open for you to give you the option to find the best Flights.
    We are an organization that contributes to the community in different social assistance programs, the activities carried out by all volunteers are focused on benefiting vulnerable populations, children living in abandonment, animals in danger, the elderly in extreme poverty, nature, etc. Each volunteer contributes financially because our organization is self-sufficient. It does not depend on aid or private or public institutions. Volunteers are an important part of the solidarity work since they contribute their will and desire to serve as well as financially to cover part of their personal expenses and contributions to other organizations with which we already have a collaboration agreement with materials, medicines, medical accessories, contributions monetary, etc. We would like to know what your weekly budget is to reach an agreement.

    You can choose for yourself if you'd like to register for the optional courses in Spanish, acupuncture, and Chinese metaphysics.

    Please note that the listed activities cost an additional fee of 20 Euros per hour of class.

    On-site Services

    We provide a private bedroom, breakfast,  internet, gas, hot water, and acupuncture classes and practice, with all the necessary equipment.
    You have access to the internet via wifi. We also provide you with a Peruvian SIM card, 
    filtered water to drink, and electricity. private bathroom with a shower with hot water. 

    Airport Pickup at Rodriguez Ballon International Airport

    We provide an airport pick up, or from the bus terminal in Arequipa.  

     

    Accommodation

    We offer a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom at our house, located in the Characato district of Arequipa. 30 min. Far from the airport. Rodriguez Ballon 

    Characato is a traditional small Peruvian town, around 30 min. by taxi to Arequipa´s downtown   

    At the house, there is a green area where volunteers plant flowers, make compost, design the garden, or plant trees to collaborate with the pollination.   

    For your use, we will provide bed linen and towels. The room contains all the necessary furniture.

    In the morning, we will share a continental breakfast. For lunch, you will walk to our connected restaurant partner.  8 blocks away from the volunteers' house to enjoy a delicious hot meal according to traditional Peruvian food style. Or if you prefer, it´s also possible to make your own meal at our shared kitchen.  For dinner, you could make your own sandwiches and hot beverages at home.

    Please be aware that you can not drink tap water in Peru. You are free to buy your own bottled water to drink or boil it before drinking.

    Flight Tickets

    The nearest airport is Rodriguez Ballon International Airport (AQP) in Arequipa. We assist you to find cheap flights to Peru. FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS

    Please be aware that you have to pay for your transport. All transport fees like for bus tickets or taxis are not included.
