Social media is key in promoting and marketing as well as raise awareness for a specific field and PFC would like to use this as a way to raise awareness about inclusive conservation that benefits to both nature and local welfare.

Applicants
for this programme will be working mainly with office staff although even field
works are planned to help the applicant interact with field stakeholders. For
instance , during the field planning meeting, assessment/evaluation or audit. A
volunteer/intern may also be in the field for information collection and
official meeting (representing the organisation in functions, meetings and
other conservation gathering).
Interested
applicant must be pro-active and versatile. There’s no-specific equipment
required for this programme.
Applicants
will be based and operating from Musanze district. Musanze is one the
districts of the Northern Province of Rwanda. Its capital city is Ruhengeri
which; is also sometimes known as Musanze. Musanze is Rwanda's most mountainous
district, containing the largest part of the Volcanoes National Park and its
head office at Kinigi. Five of the eight volcanoes of the Virunga chain
(Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura) located within the district
boundaries. It is also in this district that most of Rwanda's mountain gorillas
are found, making it the most popular tourist destination in the country.
Musanze's capital, Ruhengeri, is one of the largest cities in Rwanda and serves
as a hub for tourists and outdoors.
It is easy for applicant to access to the rest corners of the country from Musanze. Musanze is at 11h drive from Gisenyi and the Democratic Republic of Congo border with Rwanda, Gisenyi is known for its super weekends for water sports lovers. Musanze is also at 2h30 drive from Kigali and at 25 minutes to Cyanika, the Ugandan border.
