    Over het programma

Volunteers will assist teachers in all daily tasks, from assisting students with their difficulties in organizing lesson plans and educational materials. The School program allows those with a desire to educate the opportunity to ensure students understand the material and provide extra assistance that the teachers may be overburdened to give. Teacher's assistants will be involved occasionally with teaching students one on one, supervision of the teacher, filling in any gaps that they may have missed in the lessons. Being a teaching assistant requires creativity to plan innovative lessons that fit into the Ghanaian Curriculum. Volunteers get the opportunity to expand or earn intercultural competencies through exchange with Teachers and Students while helping to expand the minds of Ghana’s future leaders. Program arranged transportation will be provided to and from work each day.
