Details on arrival
We highly recommend that volunteers fly into Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport and take a shuttle to Milly’s, our nearest pickup point. The easiest and most economical options are CityBug or LimeTime Shuttle, both offering direct transfers from the airport.
A return ticket costs approximately R950 (≈ 50 Euros), and we suggest booking online in advance to secure your spot.
We pick up volunteers from Milly’s on the following days:
-
Tuesday (until 4 PM)
-
Thursday (until 4 PM)
-
Friday (until 4 PM)
If you’d like to arrive on another day, this can be arranged for an extra transport fee of 75€.
If your flight arrives too late to catch the last shuttle, we recommend staying overnight at the airport and taking the earliest shuttle the next morning.
Winter Special (June–September)During the winter months, we offer a special discounted rate starting at 590€ for the first week. Please get in touch if you’re planning to join us during this period.
